Knowledge Network

Nanomol-bio group belongs to the following organizations:

logo ICMAB

ICMAB is a research institute of CSIC. The initial and ongoing mission of the ICMAB is “to generate new knowledge in Materials Science and transfer it to the society, particularly to industry within the European Research Area“. The ICMAB has recognised excellence in research through the "Excelencia Severeo Ochoa" seal. The Nanomol-bio group belongs to the Molecular Nanoscience and Organic Materials (Nanomol) department.

logp CIBER-BBN

CIBER-BBN is a network which brings together reseach groups in biomedicine. It aims to carry out research of excellence with a view to transfer to industry and clinical translation, by developing the scientific fields of bioengineering, biomaterials, and nanomedicine. The Nanomol Research Unit belogns to CIBER-BBN as one of the main research topics is the preparation of new materials for biomedical applications.

logo Nanomol department

The Molecular Nanoscience and Organic Materials (Nanomol) Research Unit focuses on the study, synthesis and processing of molecular and polymeric materials with biomedical, electronic, magnetic, and chemical properties. Nanomol-bio group, together with e-MolMat group, forms the Nanomol Research Unit. Nanomol was recognised by the Catalan Goverment with the TECNIO seal, which distinguish research units that are highly active in technology transfer.

Other Nanomol-bio networks:

logo Conexión Nanomed CSIC

The Nanomol-bio group is part of the CSIC's Conexión de Nanomedicina, led by Imma Ratera. This network aims to establish sustainable, medium- and long-term collaborations between research staff from various CSIC centres specialising in nanomedicine.

logo AMR CSIC

The Nanomol-bio group is part of the CSIC's Conexión Resistencia Antimicrobianos, led by Imma Ratera. Its primary mission is to bring together existing knowledge on innovative solutions in order to combat antibiotic resistance and ensure their effectiveness in the future.

logo RER CSIC

The Nanomol-bio group is part of the CSIC's Red de Enfermedades Raras (RER), led by Elisabet González. This is an interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary network of research groups from CSIC centres that is focused on improving our understanding of, and approaches to treating, rare diseases.

logo COST LUCES
COST Action CA22131 - Supramolecular Luminescent Chemosensors for Environmental Security

Imma Ratera, PI of Nanomol-bio, takes part in the COST LUCES, which is devoted to the development of luminescent sensors to be used to help resolve environmental security problems.

logp COST GenE-HumDi
COST action CA21113 - Genome Editing for the treatment of human Disease Network

Mariana Köber, PI of Nanomol-Bio, is taking part in the COST GenE-HumDi project, which is dedicated to improving and translating gene editing protocols for diseases that lack adequate medical care, as well as increasing the safety and control of therapeutic interventions through the implementation of precision gene medicine.

logp FECAMM
FECAMM

The Nanomol-bio group, through the Nano4Rare project, collaborates closely with the Federació Catalana de Malalties Minoritàries participating in their events to aproach the research of new treatments for rare diseases to the society.
